The Le Soleil Executive Hotel is a 22-story building that offers guests a number of amenities, including laundry, gym, board and conference rooms, lounge and coffee bar, and penthouse suites on the top floor. This may sound like a relatively standard order for a boutique hotel, but the client, structural engineer and interior designer were located on the west coast and there was no local owner’s representative. This could have been a serious issue for less experienced firms, but our local know-how allowed us to step in and act as both owner’s rep and contractor in managing consultants and facilitating timely responses and solutions to field.
