Building during construction

The Doubletree Times Square Hotel is a behemoth. It encompasses over 200,000 gross square feet, includes 612 guest rooms and climbs 36 stories tall with a glass enclosed roof bar 400 feet above Times Square. The façade combines a stepped masonry design with punched windows transitioning to full a curtain wall design on the east side and a 6-story tall mesh screen wall at the base along west 40th Street. With its double height windows, the rooftop lounge offers panoramic views of the Manhattan skyline. Additionally, there is a lobby restaurant with a rear terrace space available to guests.
